The vault actually is a time capsule, not to be opened as per the instructions engraved on a plaque. The plaque on the time capsule states that it houses a secret; it includes a name- M. Alfred Clarke and a date- june 28, 2007. It should be noted that since this date has passed, the vault has been open revealing the contents of this time capsule.
